Hawkes Bay Racing hosts the first Group 1of the new season tomorrow with the Tarzino Trophy, also hosting a hurdle and steeplechase earlier on the card. Track manager Richard Fenwick states that there will be a bit of rain today on their current Good 3 surface.

The Waikato Racing Club will host 8 races on the card on Thursday. Track manager Bart Cowan has indicated an improving track into the dead range by raceday if the sun and wind continues.
